Her new bird Bernice is my own custom design, but her idea for the placement was absolutely perfect. I love to work with the bodies of those who trust me to give them something that accentuates the curves and shapes already present. It was an absolute joy to work with her on this piece and now she can walk around with something we can both be proud of. I'm incredibly stoked about this tattoo. My love for snakes continues with this sheet of Sidewinders and Tree Vipers. I styled them keeping in mind the concept of gestalt, by having very limited line work and shading once can still create detailed and accurate figures. It’s also a lot less pain for the clients and can still make for very striking pieces. #tattooflash #gestalt #dentontattooartist I am going to continue to play around with this style as it combines a more delicate touch to my sharp exterior. @theartistsgrove

Trayce Cochran (he/them) 20 year denizen of Denton. They have a degree from UNT in painting and drawing, but have been creating within any medium they can find for as long as they have existed. Tattooing with the clients vision in mind but given life by their hands is the ideal relationship. Organic blackwork is their favorite style to work in but they are open to any style or vision you may have invented in your head. They will work with you to turn that vision into a reality and a beautiful piece of art you will be proud to carry with you into eternity.
