While this can happen all year long, we’ll have extra walk-in artists in each day this week to add The Bearded Monk logo to your permanent gallery in honor of their anniversary this weekend! If you get it somewhere visible you can go to Ben and he’ll pay you back, but the tip is on you.

Between The Lines Tattoo Fundraiser
designs made with book lovers in mind! this fundraiser is raising funds for The Emily Fowler Library Foundation. A walk in only event, each tattoo gives 40% to EFLF.
Come out and get a tattoo supporting both our small business and our local library! Should be a beautiful day.

We’ll be running flash designs specially made for the theme of this market and you can wander the market or around town until your number is called for your tattoo time!
Life Drawing for Pride Month
Friends, family, and loved ones encouraged to participate and show support for their loved ones.
This month will be a still life theme. Bring your own objects that spark joy or reflect the spark your loved ones bring into your life. We will have some items to start with to reclaim phrases that have been used to dismiss or belittle lgbtqia+ community members such as pansies growing in a pan, a shoe filled with sugar, and fruit.
We hope with taking these objects combined with what you bring to the table, a lot of beautiful art can be created to celebrate all of us being together this pride month!

LOSS Fundrasig Event
Xana has helped organize this event with Anderson’s and the LOSS sector of MHMR. LOSS assists those who have lost someone to suicide in Denton County and this event will be raising funds for them!
There will be live music, pets for adoption, vendors, and more.
Xana will be doing tattoos with 40% going to LOSS
The Artists’ Grove will have a booth with free art supplies to borrow and unused ink for tie dying the event shirts if you get one!

6-9 PM with the experienced figure teacher, Dan Thornton.
BYOS - Bring Your Own Supplies
TBMHB - The Bearded Monk has Beverages
Supplies can be as simple as a paper pad and pencils, or you can bring your own easel, graphite, paints, etc!
Tips are accepted for the model and the teacher!
First Friday Atists’ Get-together
First Friday Artists’ Get-together!
Bring your art or photos of it and let’s talk about getting it up in the studio! We’d love to meet more local artists even if you don’t want to be in our gallery space.
This is an opportunity to mingle with other artists, check out our space, and craft something in our cozy space if you’d like to. We hope to foster a calm enough environment that artists can come here just to create outside of their homes on our public days.
Soft Opening
On July 1st, 2023, we will open our studio to tattoo. Our studio will still be filling out, but we encourage people to come in with questions and join us over some tea.
